One of our first placements was an individual who had been trapped in a domestic abuse situation. With limited credit history and knowledge of how to move and navigate their options for how to find a safe home. We managed to place them in a property with our lease purchase program navigating around student loan debt and limited credit history.
We had a couple inquire about one of our properties. During the tour we learned that their current house was actually a lease purchase with another company, and they were approaching a balloon payment or they would lose the right to purchase the house. Unfortunately a health issue had come up and the money they had saved to pay the balloon payment was used to cover these medical bills. We worked with them to purchase the house from the other company and managed to work it out so they didn’t have to move during this difficult time in their lives and after purchasing the property we leased to purchased it back to them.
